Activity ID: 2025-01-04T09:51:00-HSS-001 (version 2)
Event End Time:
Peak Solar Wind Speed (km/s): 650.0
Date of first appearance of coronal hole in EUV at east limb: 2024-12-28
Note: Following a potential glancing blow from CME: 2025-01-01T02:24Z, this coronal hole high speed stream is characterized by an increase in solar wind temperature and speed from ~460 km/s to a max speed of ~650 km/s. The source is likely a coronal hole, centered around N08 degrees, which reached the central meridian on 2025-01-02.
